Life is pretty hard living in the plains. First, we had to take a few month journey from the east coast to the west, then wen we got there we had to build our own house out of dirt!!!! How are we supposed to build a house in the middle of nowhere out of dirt. Then, I found out that I would have to wake up early every morning and work the fields. Then, after a long day of working in the field, I would be home schooled by my mom. then i would eat dinner and I would go to bed. this meant that I would no longer have a social life. Then there was the weather. It was always extremely hot during the day and during the night and also extremely cold in the winter. Since our house was made of dirt, it kept in all of the heat in the summer and blocked out the sun in the winter. also, for meat we would have to go to the most disgusting part of town, the slaughter house(duh duh DUHHHHH). It smelled and looked terrible, infact so bad, i wont mention it. In retrospect, i think we would have been better off staying in the city.
